• Anilkumar K. M. of the Division for Research in Advanced Materials (DREAM) Laboratory of the Department of Physics, CUSAT has won the Best Poster Award in Physical Sciences in 28th Kerala Science Congress held at Calicut University, Kozhikkode  during 28th to 30th January, 2016

• The International conference on Energy Harvesting, Storage and Conversion, IC-EEE 2015 will be held from 4th to 5th of February 2015.

• Anand. Puthirath Balan of the Division for Research in Advanced Materials (DREAM) Laboratory of the Department of Physics, CUSAT has won the Best Poster Award in Physical Sciences in 26th Kerala Science Congress held at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Pookode, Wayanad during 28th to 31st January, 2014

• Prof.  S. Jayalekshmi , Group Head and her research student  Anand. P. B of the Division for Research in Advanced Materials (DREAM) Laboratory of the Department of Physics, CUSAT, receiving the Best Research Paper Award and the Best Student Paper Award respectively from Prof. Feodor V Kusmartsev, Head of Physics Department, Loughborough University, United Kingdom at the "International conference on Optoelectronics, Photonics and Applied Physics (OPAP-2013)" held in Singapore during 4-5, February 2013, organized by the Global Science and Technology Forum.

• Smt.Sajimol Augustine.M, Teacher fellow of Dream Lab, Cochin University of Science and Technology has received the Best Poster Presentation Award at the 2nd International conference on Optoelectronic Materials and Thin films for Advanced Technology (OMTAT 2013) held from the 3rd to the 5th of January, 2013 in Kochi, India.

• Manoj M, research student of Dream lab was selected to participate in a workshop on organic electronics, conducted by IIT Kanpur during July 2012. The workshop was intended to give hands on experience on the fabrication of organic LEDS.

• Smt.Sajimol Augustine.M, Teacher fellow of Dream Lab, Cochin University of Science and Technology has received the Best Poster Presentation Award (second prize) during the 2nd International Conference on “Nanotechnology at the Bio-Medical Interface” organised by Amrita Centre for Nanosciences & Molecular Medicine, Kochi, during 21 – 23 February, 2012, for the paper “Immobilisation of trypsin with chitosan capped ZnS:Mn nanocrystals for therapeutic applications”.

• Smt.Sajimol Augustine.M, Teacher fellow of Dream Lab, Cochin University of Science and Technology has received the Best Paper Award (Oral Presentation) during the UGC Sponsored National Seminar on “Challenges in Nanoscience and Technology” organised by Department of Chemistry, St.Teresa’s College, Ernakulam during 28 - 29 July, 2011, for the paper “Synthesis and Optical Properties of Water- dispersible ZnS:Mn Nanocrystals Capped by L-Aminoacid Ligands”.
